Nick has been an integral member of the Simon Ekas Catering team for the past 3 years.

Over 15 years ago Nick embarked on his culinary career working for famed Australian chef Luke Mangan at his hatted restaurant Bistro Lulu and then Glass Brasserie at the Hilton Hotel. Only leaving Mangan’s kitchen because he was offered an opportunity of a lifetime. One that would see him travel to South Africa to be placed as Head Chef at Sir Richard Branson’s game lodge ‘Ulusaba’.

On returning to Australia Nick worked with another Mangan protégé; international chef Morgan McGlone at McGlone’s own bistro, Flinders Inn in Paddington.

Nick leads the pastry program at Simon Ekas Catering and is responsible for our decadent desserts!
